Marshalling is one way to get close to the action.
A speed event, such as a sprint can not take place without marshals and we really value the assistance anyone can offer. If you are not driving, marshalling is a good way to enjoy your motor sport and really get involved. The main role of a marshal is to ensure the events run safely and efficiently.
You don't need any special knowledge or skills, just common sense, a willingness to join in as part of a team and a reasonable sense of self preservation! There is equal opportunity for men and women, though for safety reasons juniors and less able people marshal off-track. Paddock organisation and clerical assistance is often required.
Junior marshals are required to provide written parental permission. Forms available from the Chief Marshal For queries or to volunteers contact: -
Sprint Chief Marshal Richard Newton 01925 261 299

Signing On near the Paddock Office at 9.00am Sprint marshals will be given a contribution towards petrol or expenses (currently £10 for each day marshalled).
You will need official entrance passes so please contact us.
If you decide to marshal we suggest that you came with at least the following basic requirements: -
Waterproof clothing, jacket, leggings and good shoes or boots. Many layers of thin clothing under and anorak or jacket. Hot and Cold drinks (non alcoholic). Food (always bring more than you think you'll need). A hat is useful in both hot and cold weather, and gloves. Sun block prevents the painful effects of sun and wind. Be prepared for all weathers despite the forecast.
